The conference is being organized by Low Dimensional Materials Research Centre (LDMRC), Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya, with collaborations of Malaysian Solid State Science & Technology (MASS) and Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia. The primary theme of the conference is

"Innovation in Science & Technology: Towards Sustainable Development”.

The main purpose of the ICSSST 2012 is to provide a platform for discussion, interactions and exchange between researchers, scientists and engineers from academia, research laboratories and industry. The event will provide an ample opportunity for conference delegates to collaborate and improve their knowledge in an attractive, friendly and historical environment of Malaka, Malaysia.
