Workshop on MAthematical Principles of Electromagnetic Prospecting

This workshop will introduce the participants on how the methods of advanced mathematics in combination with physical principals can be successfully used in the questions of geological exploration. The topic of lectures lies on the junction of pure and applied sciences and the workshop will be interested for mathematicians, physicists and engineers. The lectures are designed with the aim to present the main ideas of electromagnetic prospering in a rigorous and elegant mathematical language. The workshop will be equally useful for established scientists, who can become familiar with new applications of familiar mathematical apparatus as well as for student who will see the concrete application of pure science.
